Do Not Fear The Devil

Do not fear the Devil. The Devil is not one who is the personification of evil, as most religions will have you believe. But rather the Devil is the embodiment of Fear. Afterall, there is only LOVE or Fear. God is LOVE. The Devil is Fear.

The Devil is simply one who is devoid of God. One who has turned his back on Love. You become the Devil when you put your faith in fear. You become God when you put your faith in Love. Each man and woman chooses to be a Devil or a God. We choose in every moment, with every breath, with every interaction with our fellow humans.

There are those among us who are devoid of God who rise up into power. And, there are many who will follow that Devil. They follow him because they crave power. They believe in his power. They place their faith in a personification of Fear because the vibration of Fear flows within them and, like all of us, they are addicted to suffering. They are choosing their addiction over freedom. They believe, or hope, that the Devil will make them more powerful. But he will not. The Devil, ever hungry, will simply drain them of their power and then move on to seek more power elsewhere.

Some people follow the Devil because they fear him. They have faith that their fealty will spare them the pain is his wrath. It will not. He enacts pain upon others because it makes him feel powerful. But that power, externally sourced, will wain and he will need more. When he does, he will take from whomever he can, even his most faithful followers, especially from his faithful followers, because they will forgive him. They will forgive his lies, his transgressions, his crimes rather than face the reality that they have placed their faith in one who is devoid of God.

Some will not follow the Devil but yet they will put their Faith in him. They will point a finger at Him, and declare him Evil. They will rally against him, they will protest. They will cry and holler. They believe their protests will defeat him. It will not. All of their protests merely confirm their belief in him. And that makes the Devil smile. For that is power that he gets to steal even as his victims believe they are withholding it from him. We put our Faith in that which we believe, knowing or unknowingly.

The secret that the Devil knows is that both Fear and LOVE reside within us always. If he can get us to resonate with Fear, he gets stronger. We diminish the Devil by choosing LOVE.

The Devil has risen up because more and more of us are awakening to LOVE. Because we are raising our vibrations. We are choosing LOVE over fear and that siphons his power. He has no choice but to throw a tantrum. To not be tempted to believe that the Devil is only one outside of us. The ones you see in the world are simply mirrors, reflecting back to us that which we refuse to look at within ourselves. They are the personification of our own denials.

Do not run from the Devil but do not indulge him either. Look him in the eye. Acknowledge that he is YOUR embodiment of FEAR staring you back in the face. And then CHOOSE LOVE.

CHOOSE to love thy neighbor even if they refuse to love you. CHOOSE to tell the truth even as those around you relish in lies. CHOOSE to stay honest even as the Devil robs you of your hard earned dollars. Choose to be of service even as others choose to withhold. CHOOSE LOVE even when you are sad, even when you are angry, even when all seems lost. Keep choosing LOVE.

Lift yourself up and others will rise up with you. Do not worry about defeating the Devil. Diminish his power by shining your light even brighter.
