You Are Restored By Truth

If you speak your truth and no one seems to hear it, is it still not your truth? Is it your responsibility to ensure that others receive it? Whether it is exposing a belief that feels inspirational and uplifting, or confessing our deepest, darkest secrets. We all desire to be seen and heard. But our declaration, or confession, in truth is not in reality made so others will hear and acknowledge what we have said, but rather it is so that we may gather ourselves up and stand in integrity.

Lies and secrets fragment the Self and cause a misalignment with Spirit. Consistently lying or persistently hiding our truth causes deep fractures, and over time, those fractures cause vast chasms that disrupt our flow of energy. It reinforces the illusion of separation. That allows fear to enter. We run around in circles trying to hold all of the pieces together, sometimes with more secrets and new lies. But, eventually, it all falls apart.

Think of a lie as a loose thread on a blanket. Slowly, it begins to unravel and separate from the fabric. Eventually, it creates a gap. That gap stresses the other threads, and they begin to unravel as well. Unless the damage is repaired, the blanket will continue to deteriorate until all that is left is a pile of yarn. Returning to the truth breaks this cycle.

The truth has restorative power, it has the ability to weave the loose threads back together. It gathers the pieces of the fragmented Self. It recreates the interwoven fabric. It brings us back to wholeness. And, in wholeness, we are aligned once again with Spirit.

The Truth does this without blame or judgment. It demands no restitution or payment. It needs no fanfare. It needs no recognition. It just does its work.

If you have told your truth, your work is done. Others may not hear or acknowledge your truth, but that does not diminish its power. You are restored. Standing in Truth, you are in integrity and aligned with Spirit. You do not need to keep repeating your truth, unless you choose to do so. You may desire confirmation, and if you choose to seek it, that is fine. But ask yourself, “Why do I need it?”

You do not need permission to begin. In truth, your journey has already started.
